The technical team comprises 79 engineers, 6 expert-team members and 5 staff with senior professional titles. 85% hold undergraduate degrees, 28% graduated from 985/211 universities and 15% hold postgraduate degrees. R&D runs through the company research institute, the Laoshan R&D centre, the Shenzhen R&D centre and the testing centre.
Industry-university-research cooperation includes Professor Song Jian's team and Dr Li Xingkun's team at Tsinghua University, the College of Automotive Engineering at Jilin University and the School of Automotive Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology.
